Andrew, an Austin, Texas publishing executive, who's on the wagon and in A.A., walks in on his wife in bed with another man, and in the nasty divorce that follows, Andrew falls hard off the wagon and takes up with Crystal, a hostess at the Yellow Rose, a strip club Andrew visits on a whim and then starts to frequent with abandon. Alternating between concern for his pre-teen daughter, Alex, and his enjoyment of rough sex and cocaine with Crystal, Andrew undergoes mood swings that get him into further trouble with his ex. He's soon in debt to his drug supplier. Is Crystal after his money? What will happen if he runs out? Is there a 12-step way out - to let go and let God?

A dreadful, unpleasant movie
I guess only one other person actually reviewed this. The problem with any movie is that you main character has to be likable on some level, and the main character in this one isn't. Frankly, about half way through the movie, you want the train to hit him. He blows a good job, a good relationship with his daughter, to spend time with a stripper and a bunch of druggies. Even his lawyer who tries to help him is rebuffed. Hey, when the boss and divorce lawyers are more likable than your protagonist, you know you have a problem with your movie. Just not a good movie to watch, really. Even the sex scenes are kind of dull.
Very intriguing look into the life of a seemingly "normal" man
The story line of this movie is absolutely amazing, the only aspect that really draws from this movie is the acting. The acting is sub par, probably because it doesn't have any named actors, and no real rising stars. This movie really makes you think about what boarders and limits you are unwillingly to cross in your "normal" life. And to what extents a "normal" man will dip into that world of darkness and debauchery. This movie is a another look into the underground drug world, so if you didn't like loaded, and train spotting then you probably won't care for this. However, if you can expand your mind you will see the inner thoughts of two differing human beings, and what brings them together. This movie will change your thoughts about life, through the downward spiral of this poor mans life, who goes from everything to absolutely nothing in the matter of a few short weeks.
