Sweet and funny
Totally didn't expect to like this film but it is sweet and funny at the same time. I even liked the filming technique which made it look more like a home movie. So often we don't take a chance at love because of our fears and sometimes, when we do, it is worth it. When these three young men take that chance, even when they make a fool of themselves, they keep on trying. Fitch's sincerity and dedication to helping out his friend even when nothing is working keeps you cheering him on (even though he's in the exact same situation). It could have done without the first marshmallow scene, but it also sets you up to know just how awkward these kids are. You won't feel awkward taking your younger teens to the movie as it contains no swearing or sexual references. A refreshing change in today's world.
