Moneykandan (Vaibhav) is an IT guy who spells his name as 'Money (numerology) and like his name money is an important driving force in his life, as he dreams of getting his sister married and make his mother happy. He has a loving girlfriend Meera (Ramya Nambeesan) and life seems to be one big party for him. However his life takes a U -turn when he gets suddenly fired from his job. One day by mistake, a box arrives on his doorstep containing Rs. 5 Crores which is a part of settlement between two bad guys Ilavarasu (Kota Srinivas Rao) and Kamatchi Sundaram (Sayaji Shinde). Moneykandan wants to run away with the money and start a new life in another country, but he finds that he has caught a tiger by the tail.

This slick and neat package would have been saved to a great extent if the narration was a little more interesting

Can he dodge them and getaway with the cash? debut director sree comes with a thriller comedy that lacks punch as the movie goes on.Close in the footsteps of dark comedies .Nail-biting plot makes the film watchable. may not be exceptional but still has what it takes to be applauded for the effort. screenplay is racy which makes the film interesting from start to end.The story moves at a brisk pace till the end.Romantic track is used only in small doses and gives importance to the crux of the story.The movie has interesting characters which are unpredictable.Plot is wonderful , but loses steam in execution.It sets out to prove 'Money is the root of all Evil'. This is perhaps an attempt at black comedy, but it falls completely flat, especially in the climax.Despite its faults, the film is engaging in parts.TRIVIA 1. Debutante director Shree, an assistant of filmmaker Shankar during 'Enthiran' began working on the script the film which starred Vaibhav and Remya Nambeesan. 2. Thaman recorded a song with the lead actress Actress Remya Nambeesan for the soundtrack.
