Slow-moving character drama
ILLUSIONS is more a character drama than a horror movie. Made on a very cheap budget, it's about a disturbed young woman going through some kind of hidden trauma as weird events start to take place in her life. The main actress is fine but the long-winded story is dragged out endlessly. There's lots of character talk and setting up of scenes but not much in the way of incident or intrigue.
very good for being home made
I liked this movie because I like movies made locally. It was shot well and I like the idea of the unknown. Good subject matter. And my brother is in it. LOL
