A strictly monogamous man stops to help a stranded female with a broken down car. In gratitude she offers oral sex, when he reluctantly accepts. However, just as they get involved, the cops arrive and it turns out that the woman is a known prostitute. The man is arrested and is forced to call his wife at 3 AM to bail him out. A few days later he is evicted from his home by his wife. His best friends question how he could have been so naive. Meanwhile his wife and her friends plan their own night out with full sexual plans. Meanwhile the men decide that an apology is at hand. Arriving home, instead of his wife, he finds his mother-in-law. Eventually the guys, girls, and mom all end up together in a night club that brings all the events to a head.

It's no "Swingers" but still mildly entertaining
"Just a little harmless sex" is a flimsy, silly sex farce. The story concerns 3 males, 3 females, and stories of infidelity and picking up mates. Everyone seems to be sexually aggressive in the movie, even one of the character's mothers. It is mostly a comedy, but there is a fair amount of drama in the movie. Should you forgive a loved one for cheating on you? Not because they are in love with someone else, but because they are horny at a particular moment? This is the main theme of the movie. The cast of the movie saves it. It was surprising to see Kimberly Williams (of "father of the bride fame") performing a long strip scene near the end. And for all of you looking for gratuitous nudity, the intro scene is the only nude scene in the entire movie.
A cute, light comedy....a good rental
Found this movie to be a perfect Sat evening rental.....some light comedy (a few very funny scenes) added with some drama, and a pretty good cast. It is not Shakespeare, that is for sure...but what is? The only glaring problem was a stage-hand's head popping up at the bottom of the screen during a particularly good scene towards the end.
Not bad for a late night cable movie
I caught this on cable at about 4:30 in the morning. It was pretty funny. I recognized some of the actors, and was pleasantly surprised with their performances. It was a cute movie, and somewhat accurately described what seems to be the average girls night out. I thought that the scenes with his friends hitting on his mother-in-law were great. I dont know if I would rent this, but if it was on cable again I would most likely watch it. =)
Not much of a movie but...
plenty of eye candy. Very Weak story but Getting to look at Ally Eastwood, Kim Williams and others i.e. Rachel Hunter and a few others is interesting for a few minutes. Turn the sound down though because the dialog stinks.

If you would like to see a very bad episode of Melrose Place done by some very poor actors trying to be comedic...then rent this flick. This is one of the worst movies I have EVER seen. I have never felt the compulsion to enter a comment here before but the producers of this movie duped me and I want revenge. The box for this movie has snippets of reviews praising this garbage.... don't be fooled. The 'plot' is anorexic. The 'acting' is frightening. I actually felt sorry for the performers, knowing that at one point they had to sit through a screening of their work. What a waste of time and money by me and the makers of this flotsam. Boo.
