Character driven & decent acting
Why this movie deserves a 10; I think this movie has been made by a very talented producer and actor. Samantha Spatari is a great actress and she portrayed the character very well alongside Arsalan Shirazi. The artistic directing is good and the use of lighting helped with the impact of some of the scenes. The relationship between the characters grows in intensity. You can see the chemistry between them and it was as though I was watching a real life relationship as a 'fly on the wall.' It's a character driven film. The bit where the man wanted answers and asked her to tell the truth was the best scene and very well directed - very artistic. Sometimes I get fed up watching all the Hollywood blockbusters with millions and millions to spend on the film budget. It's nice to watch movies like this that seem authentic and touch on topics that I can relate to. Heart felt.
..little going on.. in very slow motion..
The whole thing really doesn't come together until the very end.. when mom gets up and makes her little speech. Up until then, you knew where it was going, but not entirely sure why. There's really little to the story.. two young people having on and off again sex.. and that's pretty much it till the ending. The leads are fine, they cannot get into too much trouble, as there is little for them to work with, except exhibiting infrequent passion for each other, always in very dark moody settings. Is she a terrible person.. hardly, just not one you should care very much about.. and we don't... him either, for that matter.
Great Movie!
I thought this movie was great and so did several of my friends who saw it over the past weekend. It is tender and touching and explores a side of manhood we are often too ashamed to discuss or even admit. Excellent movie, Mr. Shirazi!
1 hour 37 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.
Absolutely the worst movie I've ever watched. Stuck it out to the end just in case I was missing something: I wasn't. Totally pointless and predictable and predicated on some of the worst traits and weaknesses in the human character, dishonesty, deceit, selfishness and mental cruelty.
