Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys (2008) Reviews
The Countdown is on.
And Truly it is. "Say goodnight to the bad guys" picks up where "A Sh*t river runs through it" left off. it's a year after the events of A.S.R.R.T.I and Ricky, Julian, and bubbles are rich with cash, but Julian sits on the money for a year claiming "movies like casino prove that waving money around right away is a bad idea." and then hides it in his newly purchased Delorean (AKA car from back to the future) however, the money is lost, and this sparks the boys to seek revenge on Mr. lahey. The Trailer park boys will forever live on as a cult classic on Canadian Television channel Showcase. From Ricky's vulgar and impulsive attitude, To Julians glass of coke and rum he keeps in his hand, and the lovable bubbles, the coke-bottle glasses wearing, shed dwelling trailer park boy. no matter what anyone says, the show will forever be one of the best. Just a little note of nudity, this is the first (and hopefully the last) time we get to see Mr. lahey's penis. just a little word of warning to you people. 9/10
it's gonna rain horsec*cks tonight..
I can't agree less with the guy who gave this one star. For me.. the camera crew part was the worst part.. a let down for me as it was unrealistic. It's the downside to how the show has changed. I.E movie-quality camera angles and production. That said... TPB has also evolved in great ways. Randy is even sweatier. Lahey is brilliant in this special, amazing. I don't wanna be negative, some moments felt a little forced, but it was written well. Little things. Ricky isn't as great as usual.. which is a shame. He looks too clean now. Bubbles has some of the best lines. Good to see most of the entire cast in one episode. This was funny as hell.. I had to rewind parts and laugh again. If they made one of these every few months instead of a series i'd be happy. It's nearly a movie in its own right. Watch it, enjoy it, support it... the world needs this show.
A Great Ending To A Great Show
I was more than happy with this final episode of Trailer Park Boys. I personally don't think they could have ended this series any better. I love how the show ended with Julian driving a DeLorean, which happens to be one of my favourite cars of all time. Cyrus makes an appearance at the recreation centre and is hilarious with his dance with the girls that he brings with him. Lahey is incredibly drunk as usual in this episode and his character is what really brings the show together in its final outing. Randy finally getting hosed down and washed with the dish soap is absolutely hilarious. Then there's the finale when all the boys are rounded up and taken back to "Con College". The ending was very well done and I like how Lahey renamed the park. 10/10 and a very worthwhile viewing. Very funny and creative. I'll miss this show.
Worst ending evAr!!!!
Oh My God. Seriously, worst ending ever. After all the years cheering on the Boys and hoping for the big win and in the end you give it to Lehey? He wins, with nothing but vague threats from the Boys, while we know that there wont be anything after words? Or is this just set up and teaser for the upcoming movie. Tired writing, we only laughed once. that was when the Boys finally kicked the crap out of the camera crew. As nice as it was to see them again, the only star was J-Roc, busten' rhymes and phat beats, you could have spent a 1/2 hour with him for better entertainment value. No Wrap up, No win for the Boys, stale jokes... L A M E.
