  4 stars. Most IMDb and Amazon Prime users are giving this movie strong ratings, but I'm unable to. Although the plot was appealing, the acting seemed on par with a high school play, and the script, audio, and cinematography were weak. I only made it half way through; perhaps the second half was better. For those who liked this movie, I appreciate your gift for seeing its beauty.

  TangerineLAnd is a refreshing and touching indie romantic comedy! I loved the performances of the lead actors. They were engaging and really served this charming story well. Speaking of the story, I'm a big fan of the stripped down and naturalistic storytelling here. I feel like it really helped me engage with the characters and get into their journey on a deeper level. I thought the photography really worked well too and the music was also really excellent! BRAVO!

• Sweet, well made low budget movie

  The movie was well written, competently acted and had enough unpredictability to make it interesting. In a world of movies that contain distasteful and twisted material, this movie is a little gem!!

• Loved the Actors in the Film

  The show has a slow start because I wasn't expecting a low budget film, but once the plot started to unfold the story line flowed nicely. It reminded me of Sweet Home Alabama, same plot. I really enjoyed the actors, I thought they put their heart into the roles and it showed. They aren't seasoned actors who got paid millions of dollars to star in this film, but they gave a good performance and their skills improved throughout the entire film. You could see them blossom. The story line is one we've seen before in Sweet Home Alabama but it still seemed like it's own story. It has both laid back and uptight characters who wouldn't seem to fit together, but you find yourself rooting for them to make it work again. All in all I watched the movie twice, because that's how I like to watch movies, the first one creates anxiety until I know the ending so I go back and watch it to see it unfold with a different perspective; but only if I like it.

• Witty and Heartwarming!

  I enjoyed this romantic comedy! The story was relatable. The main characters were charming and I loved the witty remarks from the supporting actress. Really good acting performances from everyone. It is heartwarming and witty. Can't wait to see what else Broom Horse Pictures has in store!
