Paul goes on the lam with the cash and the stash, but only after promising his dying friend that he'll flush it before Ball puts them in the street. Now, on the run, Paul meets the lonely, beautiful Anne with whom he indulges in the drug. They discover its curious effects, each becoming leery of the other even as they are falling in love. The fallout from the binge and the arrival of one of Ball's vengeful colleagues ultimately forces the couple to confront their demons. Take a trip to the Real Los Angeles, a place where the shimmering exterior conceals a drug culture hungrily awaiting the next new thing.

The Price of Air (2000) Reviews
Literally the worst movie ever.
Everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves. I'm sure that the critics have given them enough of a bruising, but I'd like to add my own. Terrible acting, terrible direction, a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach when I realized it was not intended as a joke.
Inspired, Insightful, Touching
In the bleak landscape of contemporary American cinema, there seem to be few who will do anything to shake it up. This film shakes it up. Not for everybody, as are hamburgers, but amongst the grim clutter there is a fresh voice that sings through this rough journey. Well worth the time to watch, and the hours later you'll spend thinking about it, as well.
Probably the most interesting use of digital formats yet.
If you're a fan of French New Wave, this one'll appeal to you. This is sort of like Goddard in the Ghetto. More of a visual poem than a straight narrative. A little uneven in the story, but compelling weird characters, all cranked up to eleven. This film kind of reminded me of a lot of the 60s French cinema... in its loose use of camera, very precise cutting, unapologetic presentation of its loser characters. It felt very truthful and human -- not glossy and antiseptic. Great soundtrack. Beautiful young lead actresses -- Alison and Charis are their names-- the camera loves them.
Oooh...Exciting!!!!!
What price would you pay for a movie like this? Air, perhaps? LOL Anyways, "The Price of Air" is one of those movies that, once the show begins, you are strapped on for the ride of your life. Everything about this flick totally appealed to me! I like all of the action sequences that this movie provides. As a matter of fact, I can just see myself hanging ten in midair right now as I am typing this up!!!!! In my true, honest to Pete opinion, "The Price of Air" is one of the great foreign action flicks of our generation. While some people may confuse this with a basketball flick, this movie is really a cliff-hanging thriller here for years to come.
Shaky camera work but not shaky dialog
A 2000 movie that looks like it was filmed in 90's shaky-cam optics. first of all everyone in this film has they're own philosophy, which is 20 times better than their own story. As they hustle and muscle to get by day by day. the cast is made up of anyone who thought they would be in the next RESERVOIR DOGS actor. Ex-rappers and models hoping to earn their SAG card. You've scene them in a thousand other films. Any ways the camera work is shaky the dial isn't it rings true. There's a lot of foreshadowing and flash-back. Everyone gets their camera time, to say their spiel and it actually pulls the story along. After you heir a gang- banger tell us how the government will market selling air to us, you'll know this is a good movie.
