Killer Body: not your typical Lifetime Movie!
Killer Body is a slow-burn thriller with a more complex and nuanced approach to character development than your typical Lifetime Movie. Lindsay Maxwell, who plays the villainess Elizabeth Oakley, steals the show as a jealous and deeply troubled former medical school classmate of plastic surgeon, Dr. Katie Jones (played by Sunny Mabrey). Maxwell brings a depth to her performance that is both highly relatable and tragic. As Elizabeth becomes increasingly unhinged, the cracks in her outward confidence reveal a vulnerable and damaged individual. In this regard, the movie appears to play homage to the early '90s film Single White Female. Conversely, Sunny Mabrey's more subdued performance acts as a necessary counterbalance to Maxwell's and helps create a vivid contrast between hero and villain. While the story itself conforms to the standard Lifetime stalker genre, the movie's focus on psychological character development and Maxwell's exceptional performance make this a must see for Lifetime Movie fans. 8 out of 10 stars.
Crazy patient story is quite believable
The wacko of the week is a jealous medical student turned patient who years later goes after her ex classmate who is now a happily married doctor (Sunny Mabrey) with a family. Liked the way the family had each other's backs. Not the irritating unbelieving kid or spouse. The wacko behaviour isn't too unbelievable. The little spray that causes stroke is quite something. Worth a watch.
CPR
Not really about the movie, but the main character Katie Jones did CPR with only 4 chest compressions and paused - 3 times, then stopped... that's only 12 compressions (with pauses). I'm pretty sure you should normally do 30 nonstop, then 2 breaths, and continue until help comes (if you are able to)... I don't think she could have in this movie. I think the movie the character Robin was already dead, so it didn't matter, but the CPR was not accurate - just in case anyone makes note of it for future CPR ! Am I wrong?!? ... I was intrigued by the movie, but wanted to share... just in case.

As usual, our females have the same hair style. Curly long curls hanging over each shoulder and a hank of hair hanging in the back that reminds me of a horse's tail. For me it is hard to watch these females. The men look more normal. As a casting director, if a female comes in to audition with that look, they are automatically eliminated before they even audition. I know this is the trend, but it is always a pleasant surprise to see a woman with short hair stylized and looking classy. As for this 2018 film, it is okay to a point. Acting is predictable and story nothing unusual. But I give it 5 starts for attempt. Let's hope LMN brings better fare to 2019.
