Yeh Ishq Sarfira is a slice of reality movie, since it is inspired by a true incident of Nazafgarh in Delhi NCR. This is a poignant tale of a college going sports enthusiast who undergoes a metamorphosis to become the most dreaded gangster during that era. This story is based on a family feud of two families who have major disputes due to land and these two warring families become blood thirsty enemies like never witnessed before. The protagonist is named Balbeer who is studying in college and has an innocent love affair with a gorgeous girl named Riya. An unfortunate incident happens in the college when Riya is ragged by a rogue named Raghu and his unruly gang. This girl then dies in an attempt to save herself when these college group of seniors attempt to rape her. The hero, Balbeer then avenges the death of his beloved Riya and ends up in jail. Then after a thrilling jailbreak, Balbeer becomes the most dreaded gangster in the entire state. What follows, hereafter is the saga which depicts how innocence is crushed by circumstances and how this god fearing hero becomes the greatest law breaker.
